What do you think is the real ‘secret’ to financial freedom online?
It may not be what you think…
No matter what business opportunity you are involved with, or what you are trying to sell online, when you really fully grasp and understand what the secret is, you will never have to worry about your financial future again. You will forever have financial independence and you will have an asset that you can have for the rest of time.
I have noticed that quite a few people in the home business world tend to focus their time and energy on their ‘product’ or their ‘business opportunity,’ and they act as though whatever they are selling, whatever they are promoting, or whatever their business opportunity is that they are selling, is more important than they are — that the ‘thing’ is really the big selling point, when actually, the most important thing is themselves.
You may have the best business opportunity in the world, but if you have not really developed yourself into somebody that is worth following and that people are going to really take value from, you are not going to be the magnetic person it takes to be successful in this industry. If you have been around this industry for a bit, you may already know this, and you may have an understanding of the concept… that it is about ‘personal development’ and ‘branding yourself,’ but what I want to share with you today is how you can take that concept of ‘you’ and build an asset that you will be able to have forever – even if your company crashes tomorrow, it will not matter – and that asset is the personal network you create based upon the branding of you.
Building your own personal network is so important, and it is the secret to ensuring your financial freedom on the internet. One of my favorite entrepreneurs and a great inspiration, Robert Kiyosaki, says that ‘Rich People build networks … everyone else looks for work.’ The meaning behind that concept is that once you build your own personal network, you will always have the ability to tap into that network at any time and do anything that you want to do, thereby creating financial freedom for yourself.
So, what does the network look like? Well, that could be anything from building your list online, creating a big group of friends on Facebook, creating a Twitter following, or a MySpace following, or a YouTube following, or creating a blog. These are all ways you can build your network, but you must keep in mind that you cannot build a network without incorporating the idea of really cultivating relationships. The relationships you build are the true leverage for your success. It is all about building your network and building your relationships with other like-minded people. When you build real relationships with people, it no longer matters exactly what ‘opportunity’ you are selling. People will join you and follow you because of YOU. And in order to attract and keep these people, you must give them value. You must give in order to receive. The more value you provide, the bigger your network will become, and the more potential will you have to create wealth for yourself.
So, do not be so focused on your network marketing company or just promoting your business, but instead focus on really developing yourself into your OWN business by branding you and creating your network. This is how you can really create long lasting success for yourself, because it is all about YOU. You are creating You, and that is it, that is the big ‘secret’ to internet marketing and to being financially free online.
Make sure you do not get caught up in all of the ‘new’ opportunities coming online everyday, and do not get caught up in hopping from company to company and effectively spreading yourself too thin (I was definitely guilty of doing this initially!). Do not worry about all of that… just focus on You, focus on building your own personal network, build relationships with people in social networks and build your own list. The secret is You. Master You, and you have mastered the real secret to financial freedom on the internet. This is something that once you ‘get’ and you implement, you will always have financial independence.
